Trial terms

1. Purpose

These terms govern the free trial of the LabLink Smile online software (“the Service”), published by FBN (“the Publisher”), offered to any professional dental laboratory (“the Laboratory”). They complement the general terms of sale and use, which apply to everything they do not cover.

The trial is reserved to professionals. By creating its space, the Laboratory declares it acts for the needs of a dental laboratory in business, or being created.

2. Discovery access, then activation

On creating its space, the Laboratory gets a discovery of the Service on fictional cases, marked as samples. During this discovery it can neither create nor invite a practice.

The trial itself is activated by the Publisher after a first exchange (call or demonstration). The sample cases are then removed. Without activation within thirty days, the space goes read-only; activation remains possible afterwards on request.

3. Duration and end of the trial

The trial lasts thirty days from its activation. It is free, without commitment and without a card. Its end date is shown in the Laboratory's space, which is warned by e-mail before the deadline.

At the end of the trial, and as long as no plan is subscribed, the space goes read-only: cases, documents and invoices stay readable and exportable, nothing can be created or changed. The Publisher may extend the trial; every extension is dated and motivated.

Subscribing to a plan ends the trial and opens the subscription under the general terms of sale.

4. Permitted use

The trial is granted to evaluate the Service for real use by the Laboratory. It is personal to the Laboratory and cannot be transferred or shared.

The following are forbidden: using the trial on behalf of a software publisher or a competitor of the Publisher; copying, reproducing or imitating the screens, texts, journeys or organisation of the Service; competitive analysis, load testing, automated extraction of content and any form of reverse engineering; opening several trial spaces for the same organisation.

The Service, its screens, texts and code are protected by copyright and remain the Publisher's property. The LabLink Smile trademark may not be used without written permission.

5. Data

Data entered during the trial belongs to the Laboratory and is processed under the privacy policy and the data processing agreement. It is kept during read-only and returned on request.

The sample cases of the discovery are fictional and deleted at activation. The Laboratory undertakes to enter no identifying patient data: cases carry an anonymous code.

A space left read-only without subscription for a reasonable time may be deleted after the Laboratory has been informed.

6. Breaches

In case of breach of these terms, in particular article 4, the Publisher may suspend or close the space at once, without compensation, and reserves every remedy.

The Laboratory may end its trial at any time by asking the Publisher.
